Dr. Kendall Bodkin
Dr. Bodkin graduated from Oklahoma State University school of Veterinary Medicine with a degree in animal science and a degree in veterinary medicine in 1988. He has served on many boards and is an active member in many veterinary associations. He has been presented with awards for outstanding veterinary service and has been published in a refereed journal. He enjoys the challenge of difficult medicine and surgery cases. Clients come from all over the Pacific Northwest for some of his specialty surgeries. His lovely wife, Donna, and his two great boys, Brady and Justin, accompanied him in the move to the Hayden area in 1990 with no regrets. Dr. Bodkin’s first love is his family, his passion is veterinary medicine, and he also enjoys riding motorcycles, flying airplanes, wood working, metal working and computer programming.
Dr. Kirstin Madden
Dr. Madden received her DVM from Iowa State University in 2001. She moved to Coeur d’Alene shortly thereafter, attracted by the area’s natural beauty and its lack of mosquitoes. She shares her home with five crazy dogs, five assorted cats, a corn snake, and her husband, Chris. She dabbles in many hobbies, including photography, writing, dog training, running, and karate, but her main focus has been the improvement of her medical and surgical skills.
Dr. John Cook
Dr. Cook is a native Arkansan who attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and then received his DVM from the University of Missouri in 2006. He has been with Hayden Pet Medical Center since June 2006. He enjoys working in a practice where client education and patient care are a top priority. His specific interests in veterinary medicine include dentistry and cardiology. He has been married to his lovely wife, Charity, since 2005 and they have 3 children: Maggie and twins Ben and Emma. In his off time Dr. Cook and his wife enjoy hiking, camping, rock climbing, and any other outdoor activity. He has a dachshund named Winston and two cats, Dunkin and Darrell.
